FREQUENTLY ASK QUESTIONS

F.A.Q.: Welcome

Q. Who is Arise Virtual Solutions?

A. Arise handles the grunt work. They hit the pavement in search of large corporations (Fortune 20 to Fortune 500) that would like to outsource their customer service, sales, or technical support positions for you to service. Arise has been in business since 1994, is accredited, and is rated A+ by the Better Business Bureau. Arise has been featured on many major news networks including CNN, Good Morning America, Fox News, and much more. They are also a part of Michelle Obama's Joining Forces initiative, which is working to bring 100,000 jobs to veterans in need. If you want to be part of something bigger than yourself, be a part of Arise.

Q. What does the work involve?

A. First and foremost, there is NO cold calling involved. You would handle inbound calls that have been routed from the clients’ phone systems to your phone at your house. You have the choice and pick the clients you would like to service. You will answer the call and service the customer while you are logged into the clients’ proprietary software on your computer. You will need a plain old telephone line (no voicemail or call waiting) and high-speed internet. You will work with the customer to resolve any concerns and provide them the information they need, then move on to the next call. Simple, right? Once you become a Client Support Professional, you can check the “Opportunity Page” on your portal to learn about the client programs and call types available.

Q. Whom will I work for?

A. Some of our clients include some of the best-known companies on the Fortune 500 list, including Carnival Cruise Lines, Disney, Intuit, etc.

Q. How many client opportunities are available at any given time?

A. Arise offers a large selection of year-round opportunities. On average, there are approximately seven different opportunities posted on the Arise portal that you can choose from.

Q. Will I be your employee?

A. Our team members or CSP's, are independent contractors of Rise & Shine Outsourcing, Inc. You will receive 1099 for your prior year’s compensation. You must pay for all your own taxes. There are quite a few tax perks for being an independent contractor. Check with your local tax advisor for more information regarding tax perks.

Q. Can I have another job while I provide services for Arise clients?

A. Yes, you certainly can! You have the freedom to work for other companies while you provide services to Arise Clients. However, we do expect our Client Support Professionals to honor their scheduled commitments to our clients and meet all performance standards.

Q. Can a Client Support Professional provides service on a part-time basis and service more than one client application?

A. To maintain proficiency Client Support Professionals service each of their clients for no fewer than 15 hours each week as specified in the Statement of Work. However, each client’s minimum weekly hour requirement varies. Many Client Support Professionals work at least 25 hours a week to have the opportunity to serve two clients.

Q. How will I be paid?

A., You will be paid on the 15th and 30th of every month via direct deposit. Or if you prefer via paper check. If those dates fall on a weekend or holiday, you will be paid the next business day.

Q. I want to do this full-time. Can this be competitive to a full-time job in a brick and mortar office?

A. The simple answer is, yes it can. The clients all have different pay structures that range from paying per minute, per call, or per hour. You can earn anywhere from $8 an hour to $12 an hour depending on the client you choose to work for.

Q. How many hours can I work and how much money can I make?

A. The more clients you service the more money you can make.  All the clients have a minimum hour requirement which is usually 15 or 20 hours a week. You must work that to continue servicing that client under the terms of the Statement of Work (‘SOW”). There are clients that have a weekly cap of 60 hours so if you’re making on average $9.00 an hour times 60 hours you would earn $540 in a week. On the other hand, if you work 15 hours and make $9.00 an hour you would earn $135 that week. It is totally up to you. The hours available for a specific client will be outlined in the Opportunity Announcements you receive once you complete the Admissions Process.
